      Prohibited Punishments - Corporal Punishment

      A caregiver utilized corporal punishment in response to a child's behavior during a disciplinary incident at the facility. The caregiver responsible was terminated for her actions. The director has required all remaining operation staff to take refresher trainings on positive guidance/discipline along with reviewing the operation's formal disciplinary policies which do not allow the use of corporal punishment in any form.
