Saving daycares: common questions
- Where is my shortlist saved?
- In your own browser (local storage). Nothing is sent to Daycare Index, there is no account, and you can clear the list any time.
- How do I add a daycare to my shortlist?
- Tap Save on any daycare card while you browse. The heart fills in, and the daycare appears here.
- Can I compare the daycares I saved?
- Yes. Use "Compare these" to send your shortlist (up to five) to the side-by-side comparison, with a map and distances.
- Will my list follow me to another device?
- No. Because the list is private to this browser, it does not sync between devices or people. That is a deliberate privacy choice.
