Installation and Maintenance of Loose-fill Surfacing - Six Inches if Equipment 5 Ft or Less
A walkthrough of the playgrounds was conducted during the unannounced inspection. The loose fill surfacing was observed to be deficient. It was not at the required depth (at least 6 inches) in the fall zone areas under and around the climbing equipment. There were areas where the ground was exposed.

One of the slides on the school age playground equipment was observed to be cracked down the entire middle of the slide. This is a risk to children. The slide must not be used by children until it has been repaired or replaced.

Safety - Areas Free From Hazards
Structure on playground is leaning causing a safety hazard. Paint is chipping off of the splash pad equipment and needs to be repainted. A swing mat is damaged and needs to be replaced. Coating on play structure is damaged. Storage chests on the playground don't have hinged lids.
