Prohibited Punishments - Corporal Punishment
Video footage showed a caregiver intentionally making contact with a child?s ear multiple times with her fingers, causing the child to cry. Interviews revealed the caregiver had previously been trained that physical discipline and corporal punishment are prohibited. The caregiver?s actions were not consistent with the operation?s policies or training. Administration promptly addressed the incident upon becoming aware of it.
