Two toddlers were observed napping in a room without caregiver supervision. The room was observed darkened not allowing for a visual of the children without eyes adjusting upon room entry. The door was also observed closed obstructing auditory awareness should a child become distressed. Note: the person in charge prompted one of two caregivers tasked with supervising the group to join the two children in the nap room.
