Supervision ensures each child?s safety, well-being, including physical proximity and auditory or visual awareness of each child?s on going activity

This standard was found to be deficient after a child was left unsupervised for approximately 20 minutes due to a caregiver's failure to conduct a required name-to-face check during a class transition. The three-year-old was found alone in the classroom by his teacher. The caregiver acknowledged failing to perform a thorough name-to-face roll call.
