Director Responsibilities - Employee Assignments
This standard was tasked over for this investigation and found to be deficient. It was determined following the investigation completed by DFPS that the caregiver that was in charge of and/or working with the child may not be properly trained and skilled in working with children that may have special needs. Some actions taken by the caregiver while interacting with the child did not display proper skills and development on how to properly care for the child.

Release of Children
This standard was tasked over for this investigation and found to be deficient. It was determined that the caregiver in charge of the child did not properly identify that parent at the time of pickup by photo ID. During the inspection time, I observed the operation's procedure in verifying an authorized person with photo ID and a copy of the ID taken prior to releasing the child. The operation is also implementing a plan to have the parents check into the Blue/main building before picking up their child from the secondary building.
