Responsibilities of Employees and Caregivers -Demonstrate Competency, Good Judgment, Self-control
Based on the preponderance of information obtained during the investigation there is sufficient information to prove a caregiver used poor judgement by taking children to their house prior to going to the field trip. The caregiver was given the option of going home while another staff member watched her class; however, they choose to stay and wait until leaving with the children for the field trip to stop at their home to change.
