Safety - Areas Free From Hazards
Two caregivers left a hot glue gun connected to a wall outlet and laying on a desk after an arts and crafts activity. A child ran into the hanging cord with their body, causing the hot glue gun to fall off the desk and swing around and hit the child on the left cheek. The hot metal tip of the gun and dot of glue left the child with a cheek burn.
