The operation was out of ratio at the start of the inspection, as there was only one staff present and there were a total of 8 children present with two of those children being 17 months and younger of age and the remaining six children were between the ages of 18 months to 3 years of age. The requirement for the maximum number of children that one caregiver may supervise in a licensed home with two children being 17 months and younger is five children between the ages of 18 months to 3 years of age with only one caregiver. *Compliance was obtained when a child was picked up by the parent.

The bathroom was observed having items within reach of children that state keep out of reach of children as well as there were medicine and other items that should be kept out of reach of children. Additionally, the play room used by the children had outlets that were not covered and the fence was falling towards the backyard in the backyard.
